HGEF selected Ewa Makai Middle School this year and took a couple of students, Principal, and a teacher to Edogawa-ku (Tokyo) which is one of the sister cities with Honolulu since 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1792 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/hawaiiglobal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/hoaloha\u753b\u50cf3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"270\" height=\"324\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hawaiiglobal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/hoaloha\u753b\u50cf3.jpg 703w, https:\/\/hawaiiglobal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/hoaloha\u753b\u50cf3-250x300.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 270px) 100vw, 270px\" \/><br \/>\nPrincipal Sanders visited Koiwa Daini Junior High School in Edogawa-ku in October 2022, and two schools have been exchanging online since then, and Ewa Makai MS hosted 20 students from Edogawa-ku last summer.
