\"\"<\/a>16 students from Nagaoka High School came this year. Traditionally Nagaoka HS goes to visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (Kilauea), Imiloa Astronomy Center, and Mokupapapa Discovery Center in Hilo, and spend a few more days in Honolulu to visit USS Battleship Missouri Memorial.<\/p>\n

In addition, they participated in Aloha Buddy Club (ABC) Advance Program with local college students to brush up and practice their English presentation. Small groups worked on their research presentations and ABC leaders coached the students with presentation skills in writing and speech. It is a great opportunity for both high school students and college students to communicate and collaborate on a project.<\/p>\n
