The Fukuoka Suisan Marine Studies High School meets Campbell High School

10/25/2018

Fukuoka and Hawaii are sister states.  Late United States Senator Daniel K. Inouye, whose name is used for the Honolulu International Airport in his memory, was a second generation Japanese(Nisei) with both parents coming from Fukuoka Prefecture.

Today we assisted the Suisan Marine Studies High School’s visit to Campbell High School.  All the students looked happy throughout their visit and were having a good time.  Their training ship, “Kaiyomaru”, was docked near the Aloha Tower while the students enjoyed their brief disembarkation in Honolulu.
