Human development is fundamental and we promote active global human development.

Hawaii is an excellent destination of choice for study tours for any demographic group. Situated in the middle of the Pacific, it holds many invaluable resources for peace study, natural and marine science study, plantation era and immigration history, Hawaiian Monarchy and Polynesian voyaging history, American culture, and English study.

How Do We Do It?
[Mission]

Hawaii Global Education Foundation (HGEF) promotes and provides educational opportunities for the community, including our youth, that advances their education and gains global perspectives through cultural exchange programs.

Why Do We Do It?
[Vision]

We take part in global human development by providing cultural exchange programs for the youth, and we hope for them to step up on a global scale to deepen their understanding of the global world. We wish for the youth of Hawaii to participate in educational programs in Japan and other countries in order to have opportunities to experience cultural exchanges.

About Us
[Profile]

Hawaii Global Education Foundation (HGEF) was formed in 2016 to assist visiting students and professional groups from other countries, especially Japan, for their study tours in Hawaii. Since its establishment, HGEF has been helping many schools that are sending their youth overseas to discover broader, global perspectives and to improve communication skills.

HGEF is based in Honolulu, however its services extend to other islands and not only does it provide planning service for the trip, but also on-site coordination and language assistance for the group during the trip.
