On April 7, 2018, we visited the STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) Night at Mililani Middle School in Central Oahu.
Mililani High School, Leilehua High School and other regional groups and businesses participated in the event.
At the Mililani Middle School booths, you could extract the DNA from a strawberry and look at it under the microscope. The Mililani High School booth had a ball-shooter game set up with their robot that had placed 4th at a robotics tournament in Hawaii. You could also learn the mechanics of airplanes at the U.S Airforce booth.
Many parents and students attended, and it was a great opportunity to learn about science whether you are a kid or an adult!
