In 2019 we had the privilege of assisting the University of Hawaii at West Oahu in tying relations with The Kyushu Sangyo University.
Although delays had arisen due to COVID, UH West Oahu President Maenette Benham was finally able to make a visit to KSU in 2023, meeting with President Kisakichi Kitajima and VP Sempuku. They exchanged opinions while touring the campus facilities. HGEF Executive Director Miyahara joined the visit for trip coordination and interpretation.
